  • Review of "Erablière Au Sous Bois" at Mont-Saint-Grégoire

    We had made a reservation for 1:30 for 6 people, and all 6 of us were there by 1:15. Yet after buying our tickets, we were told we had to wait in line. Then, we noticed there were 2 different lines; with reservation or without (which were not explicitly identified btw). To our surprise, by 1:45 they made the entire "no reservation" line go in (around 40 people!) We asked the man working there if we were in the correct line, and he said yes! He told us we had to wait another 20 minutes. Finally, we went in at around 2:10. So we had to wait for 40 minutes while we could have been eating at least 20 minutes earlier if we had not reserved. That is absolutely ridiculous. Also, nobody even checked what our name or reservation number was, to see if we actually had reserved or not! Otherwise, the food was OK for the price, the waitress was nice but could not speak English so I had to translate for our tourist friends. The horse ride was an additional fee of 3$ which was really overrated since it barely lasted 5 minutes and included no explanation of what we were seeing. Definitely not going back.

    Pea soup is definitely not watery for me! It's delicious! The utilize the best ingredients. Super cozy, grandpas at the airport house are super nice! Super generous people! Only if the fry pork has no skin! Very warm and nice environment! Very good choice for a family and friends gathering! You have to order the sirop cola during the meal! It's a must! This is a review made by a group of 7 friends :) we will be back !!!!
